Shannon M. Presha is the Chief Executive Officer of Innovative Venture Solutions (IVS). IVS offers affordable solutions for small business, nonprofits, start-ups, and charter schools that are in need of business strategy and funds development services. Shannon is also an attorney with Johnson Hopewell Coleman LLC, practicing in the areas of Business Law, Chapter 11 Reorganizations, Civil Litigation, and Charter Schools.
Shannon attended Stillman College in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, earning her undergraduate degree in History with a Concentration in International Relations. She also has earned a Doctor of Jurisprudence from Georgia State University College of Law.
Prior to attending law school, Shannon gained substantial experience in both the public and private sectors in the areas of business development, strategic planning, program management, and funds development.
Shannon previously worked overseas as a Legal Intern for the Senior Transactions Adviser in the Investment and Promotions Department of the Rwanda Development Board (RDB) in Kigali, Rwanda. The RDB serves as the country’s hub for foreign and domestic private investment. In this capacity, she reviewed and assisted in the drafting and negotiation of several multi-million dollar contracts-including joint ventures, procurement and distribution, technology management services, manufacturing, and product implementation agreements.
